Pinchbeck is a designated CEP (Community Eligibility School) for 2024- 2025. This means that ALL STUDENTS receive one breakfast and one lunch per day free of charge!
What Is CEP?
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a federal reimbursement for schools participating in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program that enables them to provide no-cost meals to all students. CEP eliminates the need to gather household income information or claim meal reimbursements according to student eligibility status (eg. free, reduced-price). Instead, participating schools receive per-meal funding based on a formula that uses data from other public benefit programs.

An important change for 2024-2025: Starting with the 2024-2025 School Year, all households wishing to receive summer EBT benefits must complete an application (either paper or online), regardless of their school's eligibility to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision that provides free meals during the school year.
- If summer EBT benefits are not desired, no application is needed to receive a free breakfast or lunch per day during the school year.

- You may apply anytime during the school year.
- Your US citizenship or immigration status does not affect your eligibility.
