HCPS Newcomer Outreach Event
The Henrico County Public Schools' Office of Equity, Diversity and Opportunity is excited to announce the upcoming HCPS Newcomer Outreach Event, a community resource fair designed to welcome and support families who are new to Henrico County Public Schools. This event provides an opportunity for newcomer families to connect with key resources, organizations, and support networks -- both within HCPS and in the broader community -- to help ensure their children's academic success. We are excited to partner with the Tuckahoe YMCA in offering this event to our community.
HCPS is proud to be a diverse and inclusive school district, welcoming families from around the country and the world. Our newcomer families may include recent immigrants, refugees, multilingual households, military families or anyone who has recently moved to Henrico County. This event is intended to provide these families with valuable information and services to ease their transition into our community.
